    Why aren’t you jumping when you are in the standing position? I thought it would be a part of the burpee or is it a “dynamic” version?

    I was a Royal Marine recruit some 33 years ago and still can remember doing press ups, sit ups, pull ups etc to the dreaded beep. With the push up we had to touch our chest onto the floor, if you didn’t then quickly a boot from the instructor would kindly push you down to assist you. I noticed your push up finished short on the way down. Incorporating that last couple Of inches intensifies the exercise making it even harder. Maybe give it a go and share your thoughts?
